What Happens Next?

The ballot closed on Thursday 9 February for this year's race. Results will be announced on Monday 13 February and you'll be alerted via email if you've been successful in securing a place.

If you're successful in receiving a ballot place, you'll need to register by Monday 20 February or you'll lose your place.

It’s a two-draw ballot – when you entered, you were given the option to pay your race fee up front to double your chances of securing your place. Runners who paid their race fee upon ballot entry will be entered in the second ballot if they were unsuccessful in securing a place in the first round. In the interests of fairness and impartiality, paying your entry fee did guaranteed a place.

The second ballot will then be drawn on Wednesday 22 February and successful runners will need to register by Tuesday 28 February.
