Your race bib explained

Your race number

You will be assigned a race number displayed on the front of your bib. This number is how your spectators can track you in our app as well as how the official race photographers identify you.

Please note that if your number is obscured or pinned on your back, you may not be included in any race photography.

Start times

Your wave number is found on the bottom left of your bib. In the assembly area in our event village, screens will tell you when to load depending on your wave number.

All runners will receive their race day timetable by email on Friday 26 September as part of their runner instructions. In this email, runners will find their arrival time along with wave number and race start time.

Please keep this email safe and adhere to the arrival time and race timetable.

You can run in a later wave if you need to, but runners cannot promote themselves to earlier waves.

Timing chip

Your timing chip is attached to your race number. Please do not remove or bend this as it may not work if damaged. Your official race time will begin recording when you cross the start line.

Finisher items

Your race bib will also show whether you opted in or out of receiving a medal or finisher T-shirt. If you opted in to receive a T-shirt your bib will show your chosen fit and size. If you opted out of a T-shirt, your bib will say 'Snowdrops' to show you have contributed to the planting of snowdrops in the Royal Parks. Please see below examples of opt-ins/outs.

Adam has opted in to receive a medal and a relaxed fit medium finisher T-shirt.
Harriet has opted out of a medal and a T-shirt. By opting out of a T-shirt, Harriet has contributed to the planting of snowdrops in the parks.
Please ensure that you have completed the emergency contact information on the reverse of your race bib.
