Inspire is our annual search for five outstanding charity runners taking part in this year's Royal Parks Half Marathon.
Inspire will shine a spotlight on five inspirational runners who have special reasons for running this year's Royal Parks Half Marathon, presented by Royal Bank of Canada. The runners will rise to the challenge of running the Royal Parks Half to raise awareness of the worthy cause that they support.
The five worthy winners will have their stories published on our website and across the Royal Parks Half social channels. Plus, they will receive invaluable PR support to help attract media coverage for the causes they are passionate about.
Inspire is a fantastic opportunity to shine a spotlight on a charity and spread awareness about the inspirational story that drives you or someone you know to tackle 13.1 miles.
How to nominate
Nominations are open to all runners taking part in this year's race for a charity, either fundraising with a ballot place or running on behalf of a charity.
Nominations will open on Thursday 16 May and will close on Wednesday 31 July at 12:00. You can nominate more than one runner but we ask that you complete separate forms for each.
A runner can be nominated by:
- themselves
- a friend or family member
- their charity
Once nominations are closed, our Inspire panellists will select the five charity runners who will be then be contacted directly by us.
What do the winners receive?
The five worthy winners will have their stories published on our website and across the Royal Parks Half social channels. Plus, they will receive invaluable PR support to help attract media coverage for the causes they are passionate about.
The winners will each receive:
- VIP tent entry on race day
- Exclusive start-line photo moment
- Access to start in any wave on race day
- Inspire runner profile across the Royal Parks Half social media channels
- Feature on the Royal Parks Half website with a link to fundraising page
- PR support to national and regional media for runner and charity
- Team RBC goody bag
